We had a fantastic experience at Serela Riau. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was also very convenient for us. I would highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I like the hotel concept.... The breakfast so delicious and got a lot of dishes to choose. The spa also very good the hotel room so comfortable. Near the factory outlet at jalan Riau such as terminal tas,cascade,secret factory outlet,riau junction,the summit and many more ^_^

The parking lot in front of the hotel too small.....

The breakfast was quite decent with quite a few options available. The location was great as it was walking distance to several shopping spots. The view from the room was quite nice and added a great ambiance to our romantic escape.

The service was not up to par as the staff seemed to lack proper training in customer service. The room was poorly maintained, and the furniture looked dated.

Room is small for a family room, they converted the confirmed rate from usd to idr with a unbelievable rate : 1 usd idr 9.000 ? while average bank rate is only 1 usd = idr 8.300 ? Is this a way of cheating the guest by giving a low usd rate but at check out they charged as high as possible and at the end their own internet rate is much lower than booking through Booked.net. Extra bed quality is very bad compare to the price that we had to pay.we only got 2 soap and 3 towels for a familiy room + extra bed total 5 persons ? Breakfast quality could be better.

cleaneliness and location

the procedures of payment is a bit annoying firstly i already paid my stay through credit card, and i already confirm by giving the 3 number behind my card to confirm that i can be charged, either i come or cancelled my stay/don't show up. i did not expect to sign anymore bills that shown to me with a minus, means -as they said- to confirm my payment i find it so ridiculous, what if i didn't show up, to whom do they have to confirm it? finally i signed the confirmation that has already printed and they did not give me the other half of the credit card slip as well. to my surprise all the staff in front office looked at me as i was the one who were so stupid and did not understand the procedures. thank you.

most probably is the location if i want to do shopping in the outlet surroundings, but they should strictly devide the non smoking and smoking section in the rooms

The location is great for those who love shopping as it is near many factory outlets and a shopping center. The convenience store inside the hotel is a plus point. The friendly staff are helpful in suggesting places to go around the area.

The parking space could be bigger to accommodate more cars.

Me & other guests are complain to hotel staff when check in: 1. the room is very long to be prepared 2. the staff isn't used to serve based on "1st come, 1st serve" The room is so small & not clean enough We'll not coming back.

The hotel provided great value for money during my city trip. its location near the city center was a plus because I had easy access to attractions and food outlets. The breakfast menu and room services were also above average.

The rooms were a bit old and rusty, and some had unpleasant smells. there were not enough electrical outlets in the rooms, and I had to unplug devices to charge my phone.
